Review: Rooster & Rice

One of my go-to comfort foods is Khao Man Gai, which is the Thai version of Hainanese Chicken. And lately, it seems like this dish has been popping up everywhere, from food trucks to food stands to restaurants. The best place in San Francisco for Khao Man Gai has to be Rooster & Rice, a small shop tucked away in the Marina district that specializes in the dish. The menu here is simple and clean, and you honestly can’t go wrong with any of their choices! The Original is the most popular as well as the most classic (it even comes with a side of chicken broth!). I highly recommend trying it, along with an extra side of the sauce.
